B2 Time Trial Series
Sept 28th 2003 Results
Seven riders strong for the first ever B2 Time Trial. With a decent start and rain in the middle of the ride riders had to work.
The course record was broken by Chris Mcgrew and now stands at 30 minutes and 53 seconds.
Kenny Gillaspy was the oldest rider in attendance and finished second showing the younger riders how to do it.
Gerald Morrow finish third with a time that was only 7 seconds behind second. Anthony Rutherford, Kelly Pifer, Wayne Gallapoo, and Brian Fitzgerald rounded out the field and had a good time.
October 26th 2003 Results
Still at the seven rider level but with two new riders and two missing due to family the event was a success.
35 seconds was all that separated first from third in the second B2 time trial. Shane Walters the newby to road bikes took the third with a time of 36:11. Kenny Gillaspy the second place finisher from September was still in second with a time of 36:07.
The big winner from this event was also the big mover from the last time trail Gerald Morrow took home the win with a time of 35:56. The biggest news from this event was the launch of the B2 Scholarship Fund to help local youth pay for college. While only raising $32 with this event it is a start to a good cause.
Since we have auctioned of a autographed Tony Hawk poster and now have a autographed copy of Chris Carmichael's new book The Ultimate Ride to auction off starting on April 4th 2004.
